** Portfolios without images will be removed**

Personal Details Section:

1. First you must register and sign into the web site.
If you have not done so already, you can do this HERE.

2. After you have registered and logged in, a link called "CREATE A NEW PORTFOLIO" will appear at the bottom of the View Portfolios Page.
Clicking on the "CREATE A NEW PORTFOLIO" link will enter you into the portfolio creation page.

3. Fill out the fields with your information then click "Submit".

Edit and change your portfolio:

HINT: Use the search feature to find your portfolio if you do not have it saved.

You can edit and update your portfolio at any time by going back to your portfolio page.
To edit details or change /add images - click on the edit icon at the top of your portfolio (it looks like a little notepad and pencil).

You will see the fields that you used to create your details, you can change them as needed.
You can also enter the "UPLOADS" section and edit / add images.

Go back to your portfolio and you will now see the edit feature (it looks like a note pad and pencil) at the top left of your portfolio.

To Add images click on the button "UPLOADS" at the top of the page.

Upload images directly from your computer to the upload section.
You can name images or put a comment in the field provided.
There is also a field for an attachment if you have a pdf or document you would like to use in your portfolio.

After you finish click "Submit" and your images will be added to your portfolio and submitted to the database.

If your images don't show: then they are most likely too large. Images should be no larger than 250kb.

Image Optimization:
To make your images look best for your portfolio we suggest you size them to 600px (largest dimension, either width or height)

Ideal image settings:
Size: 600px (largest dimension, either width or height)
Dpi: 72
Compression ratio: 80%
Color profile: sRGB
File type: jpg or png


Images must be no larger than 250kb and must be jpg, gif or png.
Images can be changed, but must have a unique name as the old images will stay on our server.
Any images or portfolios deemed unsuitable may be removed.

Additional Notes:

If your art fits several categories you can select multiple categories.
You can do this by pressing and holding down the "control" key and then clicking each category your work fits.

Affiliates:
are areas for you to be able to link to pages, articles or galleries that show your work or have information about your art or career.  

Links to external websites:
You must add http:// to the beginning of a link or the link won't work.

Show or Hide email:
You can elect to show or hide your telephone or email address from public viewing by checking or un checking the box next to the field.
(The staff at MAC Fine Art will be able to view these details and will be able to contact you when necessary)

Browser:
We suggest you use FIREFOX or the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer 6.0 has known bugs and may cause issues with submitting or viewing your portfolio.

Link to your portfolio

by using the URL in the address bar. We encourage you to use the portfolio on our website to promote your artwork. Consider it your personal portfolio page.
